Special Congregational Meeting Called For May 4, 2025

MSPC Members, mark your calendars for a special congregational meeting on Sunday, May 4, at 10:00 am (between the two services). The Session has called this meeting to handle several items of business:

Ratification of the results from the February congregational meeting. During that meeting, we elected officers and approved Pastor Smith's compensation package, but we lacked a quorum. Therefore, we need this meeting to approve the results.

Vote on three changes to the MSPC bylaws:

• Move the Annual Meeting date to September.

• Add language about the business that may be conducted at congregational meetings, bringing this section of the by-laws in line with the PC(USA) Book of Order.

• Streamline our officer nomination process by bringing it in line with the PC(USA) Book of Order.
