There's a lot of information out there giving you tips for managing money, but very few people talk about our relationship with money. Our relationship with money is important. It affects our level of anxiety/comfort, it affects our spending choices, it affects our goals, it affects our sense of purpose, and it shapes how we measure success. In this sermon series, we'll talk about spiritual truths that most money management gurus don't talk about:
1. **Contentment (Philippians 4:4-13)**: Finding identity in Christ rather than in material possessions leads us to a sense of completeness and transforming ambitions into joyful pursuits.
2. **Provision (Matthew 6:25-34)**: Trusting in God's provision and embracing gratitude, encouraging us to adopt a slower pace of life and an abundance mindset.
3. **Purposeful Living (Colossians 3:1-17)**: Understanding God's mission for our lives helps us prioritize and manage our resources more effectively.
4. **Community (Romans 12:1-12)**: Engaging in community enables us to give and receive joyfully while facing the challenges of expectations and envy.
5. **Legacy (Proverbs 17:1-17)**: Considering the legacy we leave, not just financially but also in values, faith, and love, encourages us to bless others during our lifetime.
The series, beginning May 18, aims to deepen understanding of financial management by connecting it to purpose and community.
