Please join us on February 2nd at 10 am for a Brunch 'n Learn in the chapel with Mark and Sara Covel. They serve with Cru Church Movements and Athletes in Action and work to reach the world for Christ.
Athletes in Action (Sara), Cru's sports ministry, has outreaches in more than 70 countries, including at 225 college campuses and with many professional sports teams in the U.S. Roughly 300,000 guests are expected to visit the campus this year, especially with the recent grand opening of the John Wooden Family Fieldhouse at the AIA Sports Complex.
Church Movements (Mark) serves the well-being of cities by mobilizing the church. It allows people to connect to Jesus through meaningful, conversational evangelism that is wise, gracious, open, and straightforward so that every man, woman, and child would know the gospel and experience the love of Jesus. This work is urgent as 2.5 million Americans leave the church yearly, and about 4,000 churches close. Today, the U.S.A. is the 6th largest unchurched nation in the world.
