The focus of our student ministry is discipleship and community. We have opportunities for both middle school and high school students to get connected in a variety of ways including Youth group, missions, and church leadership.

Our middle school group meets Sunday evenings from 5pm-6pm. Our goal is for students to grow in a gospel-centered environment by learning scripture, engaging culture, and having fun. This is where kids get their first experience of what group life consists of in the church. Students are encouraged to study and grow in God’s word while learning how to live out and talk about biblical concepts in community and small groups. Our hope is to get kids connected to the larger body of the church and experience the importance of the church family.

High School • 9th-12th grade

Our high school group meets Sunday evenings from 6:30pm-8:00pm. In our High School ministry, we seek to continue building gospel maturity in our students and help them grow deeper in community with each other, the church, and most importantly Jesus Christ. Our goal is to build a gospel-centered community through discipleship, small groups, retreats, and missions. We spend our time studying scripture, learning how to approach issues of faith and culture, and hanging out in community with one another. After youth group we typically head out to share a meal together to end the night.

Upcoming Events

  • Sunday February 5th is our annual Super bowl party (and of course the puppy bowl for those not interested in football) for middle school and high school youth groups. It will begin at 6pm and wrap up after the game. There will be food, drinks, and hanging out. Even if you aren’t a football fan come and hang out anyway, and if you are a football fan the game will be in HD on our giant projector screen. I would ask that middle school students bring a 2 liter, and high school students bring their favorite chips or cookies, and we will provide the chicken wings!
  • Friday February 17th the school is closed for the holiday weekend so we will be having our annual Tubing/Ski trip to Perfect North Slopes! We will meet at the church at 9am and leave at 9:15am. We will be tubing and skiing from 10am-1pm. The cost is $25 for tubing, and if you want to ski a lift ticket is $52 plus $25 rental (if you don’t have your own equipment). We will return to church around 2pm. Please bring money for the ticket of your choice (tubing or skiing) and some cash for lunch (they have some pretty good and inexpensive options there at the lodge).
