Administrative Assistant

Pam is a life-time resident of Ohio and has two adult sons James and Benjaman. While raising her family and working full time at a local hospital, she was taking courses in Business Management at UC Clermont College and Xavier University.

After working 17 years in healthcare, Pam’s postion was eliminated as the result of health care down sizing which began in 1991. During the period of unemployment, she decided to return to the secretarial administrative field and took some computer courses to sharpen her skills in preparation for employment.

God and a strong faith foundation have been instrumental throughout Pam’s life. After almost a year with no job and unemployment ready to run out, God led Pam to Madeira Presbyterian. Only then was she able to look back on the previous year and see a glimpse of God’s wisdom and timing. As in an old Christian song, He [God] may not come when you want him, but He’s right on time.

Pam has filled many roles in the church office since she joined the staff in March 1992. In the church, things are constantly changing as God continues to mold us and shape us – not only as individuals but as members of a larger body – His Church.

Pam enjoys her role as grandmother to Abigail, daughter of her son Ben and his wife, Robin. Her older son, James earned his docorate in Psychology and is a faculty member at Sage College in Albany, New York.
